Vacation at Sunset Beach

We went to Sunset Beach for a week with my in-laws...we had a blast! Austin of course enjoyed himself and I think he finally got used to having his hands a little dirty...lol. He always wants his hands clean, but he actually played in the sand...yay! Hailey at almost 2 months old enjoyed the beach...she slept really well in her swing out on the beach! Ryan had a great time and was able to spend alot of time with his cousins, so it was alot of fun. I of course enjoyed the daily Sangria and Bay Breezes and just relaxed as much as I could while Hailey was sleeping in the swing on the beach! All of the adults went to dinner one evening at a place called Max and Sams...the food was awesome!!!! We all definitely enjoyed the beach and a big thank you to my in-laws for having us out there for the week! Here are a some of the pictures I had taken, enjoy!

My New Do!

So I decided that I wanted to cut my hair short! We are going to the beach next week and I figured it would be nice and cool since it is so hot here in Florida. My hair grows so fast, so in a few months my long hair will be back unless I like keeping it short. Here is a picture of my new hair cut. Hope everyone likes!

Hailey 7 weeks old!

Here is a picture of Hailey at 7 weeks old! She is growing so much everyday! She smiles alot now, she is starting to learn and focus her eyes...not cross-eyed as much anymore...lol. She is constantly moving around and likes to say, "Ah-ha!". Too cute!

Thomas and Friends Live!

Ryan and I decided to take Austin to see Thomas and Friends Live, it was awesome! I don't know if I am just still hormonal after having the baby, but when I saw Austin's face light up when those trains came out on stage...it made me want to cry! I was so happy to see how happy he was. Being a mother is such a joy! Ryan was a little tired considering he works 2 jobs, so when the lights went out...he was starting to doze off a little bit...lol. Here are some pics from Thomas and Friends Live!

So Precious!!

I took Hailey to Picture People for her first in-studio pictures, it's not like the hospital photos. Believe it or not, Hailey did really well and cooperated...not one cry! She is 6 weeks old now and is just growing like a weed! Here is a picture of the framed portaits we bought and her little naked body...too cute! We will be going again in September for Austin 3 year old portraits and Hailey's 3 month old portraits.

What can I say about Austin? Austin is in school part-time right now since I am home on maternity leave. Austin is still trying to adjust with his new sister home. We are trying to have him sleep in his own bed at night, he is doing a little bit better each day, it isn't as much of a challenge! Austin will still cry every once in a while because he says he is scared of monsters, I am trying to let him know that it's ok and NO monsters are going to get him. He has gotten better about playing by himself when I am busy feeding Hailey, etc. Thankfully Austin has a little girlfriend Keira who he likes to have a date with every once in a while. Austin and Keira are only 11 days apart. These pics are too cute! Austin leaned right in to give Keira a kiss, don't worry it was only a quick peck! LOL. Hailey's 1 month old check-up.

I took Hailey for her 1 month check-up. Hailey weighed 9 pounds 5 ounces and she was 21 1/2 inches long. The MD said she is a healthy normal baby. Unfortunately right now she has baby acne which doesn't look too cute, it's really bad on the right side of her face which you see in the picture posted. I will probably be postponing pictures until it gets better. When she is warm or when she gets upset it gets really red. She is a very content baby and she is still sleeping well at night, only wakes up 1 or 2 times a night to have a bottle then goes right back to sleep...it is great!

Here are a few random pictures from yesterday and today of the kids. Austin had many pictures taken today of him with his trains, of course this was his request...not because we were bored or anything...lol. Austin of course loves his bath time...so here is a happy shot in the tub! Hailey has been doing great, she went 6 1/2 hours between feedings last night...it was awesome! Hailey has been trying really hard at lifting her head, she is doing really well...she is very strong! She will be going to her 1 month check-up on Wednesday, we will see how much she has grown...can't wait! I will be taking many more pictures and posting them. Enjoy!

Brother and Sisterly Love!

So last night Austin decided that he wanted to hold the boppy pillow, so of course I asked him if he wanted to hold his sister on the boppy pillow...and of course he said yes! He was so excited...he kept saying "Cheese!" and he kept leaning over Hailey and giving her kisses...it was so precious! Here is a cute shot of Hailey and Austin. Hailey is still learning to focus her eyes and gets cross eyed...lol...but eventually I know she will be looking at her big brother and smiling...I know she loves him very much! Eventually we will be getting professional pictures done.

Austin is still enjoying his sister Hailey, I think he knows she is staying here for good now...lol. Austin is loving school, he is in music class there at school and he loves it! Our boy definitely has some rhythm. Austin will be 3 in September. Hailey is 1 month old today...I can't believe 4 weeks ago she was born...it has flown by! Hailey's umbilical cord finally came off so she was able to have a regualr bath...yay! She sleeps pretty well for a newborn...she can go in 5-6 hour stretches between feedings, so it's great! Here are a fews pics of both of the kids. They are our pride and joys!

4th of July Fun!

4th of July was a blast! My Uncle Pete, my brother David and his girlfriend Felicia came down to Florida...we had a blast! Austin was able to do some fireworks, although he was a little scared...all he really liked were the sparklers...as any 2 year old would. The food was great...thank you to Nanny and mom. Here are some pics from our lovely 4th.

OK...so it has been a while!

So, it has been a while since I have blogged! ALOT has occured over the last several months. In October we found out we were pregnant! Austin ended up having a sinus scraping done in December, he has done really well since then, only 2 sinus infections...that is an improvement! Pregnancy #2 was very tiring...I maybe had 2 days of energy the entire pregnany and some complications with my pulse towards the end of pregnancy...it's very difficult to walk around with a pulse in the 140's-160's! I have been much better since the birth of our daughter. We gave birth to our daughter Hailey Ann Barron on June 10, 2009 at 10:38 AM. She weigned 8 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long. Austin has had a little bit of an adjustment to make but he has done well and he loves his sister very much! Here are some pictures of our new bundle of joy and of course the big brother!
