My big boy Austin and his play date with Keira!

What can I say about Austin? Austin is in school part-time right now since I am home on maternity leave. Austin is still trying to adjust with his new sister home. We are trying to have him sleep in his own bed at night, he is doing a little bit better each day, it isn't as much of a challenge! Austin will still cry every once in a while because he says he is scared of monsters, I am trying to let him know that it's ok and NO monsters are going to get him. He has gotten better about playing by himself when I am busy feeding Hailey, etc. Thankfully Austin has a little girlfriend Keira who he likes to have a date with every once in a while. Austin and Keira are only 11 days apart. These pics are too cute! Austin leaned right in to give Keira a kiss, don't worry it was only a quick peck! LOL. Hailey's 1 month old check-up.

I took Hailey for her 1 month check-up. Hailey weighed 9 pounds 5 ounces and she was 21 1/2 inches long. The MD said she is a healthy normal baby. Unfortunately right now she has baby acne which doesn't look too cute, it's really bad on the right side of her face which you see in the picture posted. I will probably be postponing pictures until it gets better. When she is warm or when she gets upset it gets really red. She is a very content baby and she is still sleeping well at night, only wakes up 1 or 2 times a night to have a bottle then goes right back to sleep...it is great!

Random Pics

Here are a few random pictures from yesterday and today of the kids. Austin had many pictures taken today of him with his trains, of course this was his request...not because we were bored or anything...lol. Austin of course loves his bath time...so here is a happy shot in the tub! Hailey has been doing great, she went 6 1/2 hours between feedings last night...it was awesome! Hailey has been trying really hard at lifting her head, she is doing really well...she is very strong! She will be going to her 1 month check-up on Wednesday, we will see how much she has grown...can't wait! I will be taking many more pictures and posting them. Enjoy!

Brother and Sisterly Love!

So last night Austin decided that he wanted to hold the boppy pillow, so of course I asked him if he wanted to hold his sister on the boppy pillow...and of course he said yes! He was so excited...he kept saying "Cheese!" and he kept leaning over Hailey and giving her kisses...it was so precious! Here is a cute shot of Hailey and Austin. Hailey is still learning to focus her eyes and gets cross eyed...lol...but eventually I know she will be looking at her big brother and smiling...I know she loves him very much! Eventually we will be getting professional pictures done.

Austin is still enjoying his sister Hailey, I think he knows she is staying here for good now...lol. Austin is loving school, he is in music class there at school and he loves it! Our boy definitely has some rhythm. Austin will be 3 in September. Hailey is 1 month old today...I can't believe 4 weeks ago she was born...it has flown by! Hailey's umbilical cord finally came off so she was able to have a regualr bath...yay! She sleeps pretty well for a newborn...she can go in 5-6 hour stretches between feedings, so it's great! Here are a fews pics of both of the kids. They are our pride and joys!

4th of July Fun!

4th of July was a blast! My Uncle Pete, my brother David and his girlfriend Felicia came down to Florida...we had a blast! Austin was able to do some fireworks, although he was a little scared...all he really liked were the sparklers...as any 2 year old would. The food was great...thank you to Nanny and mom.
